The Importance of Getting to Know Your Neighbors
So you've moved into your new home and you're surrounded by new neighbors who are gawking at you. Whether or not they introduce themselves to you, you should make the effort to break the ice. Many people go years without talking to their neighbors. In fact it's become a social norm in some places, but that may not be the best way to go when moving into a brand new community. Getting to know your neighbors has more benefits than drawbacks.
